QUESTION: --------------------------------------- I have installed the CGI counter on my website.
It worked ok whilst I was accessing the sites via http://www.bargainhosts.co.uk/~hostname BUT.... now that the DNS has propagated, when I access the sites via http://myhostname.com the counters display the following error message:
Could not write to the counter file: /var/cpanel/Counters/hostname.dat
And now I am stumped.
ANSWER: --------------------------------------- This problem is due to permission changes on .dat files, contact us (support@bargainhost.co.uk) to fix permissions for your counter.dat file.
